Our business continues to strengthen and our services rapidly expand. Primarily we have focused on industrial electrical work in the food, beverage and manufacturing industry with experience in paper products and plastic extrusion.These projects further supported environmental remediation. BDM Electrical is now equipped to administer Australian Standards to hazardous areas and install equipment within explosive atmospheres.
Other services range from electrical contracting, machine breakdown and various types of maintenance. We are particularly experienced with the design and implementation of large-scale projects and work closely with our clients during the early developmental stages, project design, manufacture and installation.We are readily available for project development or maintenance as required. Our business is not limited to large-scale projects either; we are happy to work on modest projects as well..

WHAT WE DO
BDM Electrical services installed a cap detector on our filling machine which stops the filling conveyor and alerts us when there’s an issue with our capping turret. This simple project saves us time and effort, and prevents open bottles entering our production line.
They did an excellent job.
We ordered a Lidding/Capping machine from China, but we didn’t have line control for our containers, BDM electrical services did the electrical controls using a PLC and a pneumatic manifold to control gates for our filling positions. They had to take into account filling of different size containers.
It also links signals to the conveyor, metal detector and weigh station, and down stream Lidding/capping machine.
They did an excellent job.
Our unwind machine diameter scanner failed and the spare parts weren’t available. BDM electrical services used a PLC and an ultra sonic sensor to mimic the failed parts and get our unwind machine up and running again. Thank you.
Our rewind machine had issues with its ramp controls. The ramp control circuit boards were worn out, with hot spots and bad connections.
Bdm electrical services used a plc to mimic the ramp control card, this project saved us about $100,000 as was a quote from another supplier for replacement upgrade parts.
We had ongoing issues with our bottle filling machine stopping on occasions, this was causing a lot of problems with our production output, and it was costing us money in overtime.
BDM electrical services identified the issues quickly, ordered and installed the required parts. They also installed a small safety plc to monitor our guards which cab assist with fault finding.
